Wow. Your words always manage to open my heart. Thank you, Joe.
There’s so much duality in our current world. Perhaps there always was, but I’m only feeling it more with age and with our constant availability to our tech devices. When we don’t take time to unplug (literally) from it all, our patience grows thin and it becomes easier to blame than reflect.
This darn full-time work “thing” keeps a manuscript I’m in the middle of editing from morphing into something worthy of publication;-) I will keep you posted when that moment arrives. In the meantime, your words fuel my writing. Again, thank you.
And it IS possible to meet someone for “real” where fear has receded into the psychological abyss. Sometimes, for this to happen, it’s like a beautiful pool, beckoning us yet cool to the touch. We can “get in” by dipping our toe first and over time, immersing ourselves, “swimming”with that special person.
