Wow. Your response is a mic drop, Brenda. We all arrive at adulthood with our own preconceived notions about things because of the messages we received (or interpreted) in our early years.

I had actually considered entitling this piece: The Human or the Bear--but thought--quickly I might add "Why would anyone be scared of a human?" The more I ask this question, the more I take in the responses of others, the more I realize we tend to live in default mode. Love challenging that mode with questions like these. It's a rewarding way to grow.
