Palestinian mothers know that their children being held in Israeli prisons were accused and sentenced (although not always, because the courts are overwhelmed and behind) in a court of law for murder or attempted murder of Jews. Palestinian parents know that their children are being fed, given medicine, and seeing the light of day. The parents of the kidnapped hostages don’t even know if their children or elderly parents are alive.
