Like anything else, I think it depends. Just like readers on Medium, our loved ones have varying tastes, likes and dislikes. While they may lean toward giving us that emotional cheerleading, they could also be honest. But unlike Medium readers, they are automatically going to read our work, not needing the zippy headline.
