The next day was my weekly group therapy session. Each Wednesday for the past three years, I have shown up to do the work of healing and learning, the work that teaches me to love and accept myself unconditionally, to see my flaws as part of my humanity, to learn from my mistakes, and to feel proud when I transcend old behavior patterns I no longer need.
